Whilst hordes of children run around in playful mood, others danced to a variety of rhythms from DJ’s blurring out music from locations in close proximity from each other.

 

Street artists displayed their colourful works alongside street graffiti with side attractions such as a boxing tournament for children, push bike stunts and lots of many other activities and refreshments to compliment the day’s entertainment.

Street Art and a vintage fashion extravaganza epitomised this year's ACCRA[dot]ALT Charlie Wote Street Art festival.

Charlie Wote in the GA dialect of Accra means Charlie lets go and is also the term in the same dialect for flip flops.

The streets of James Town thronged with people from all walks of life from the young to old as well as a host of foreigners.

some joined the cue to get a better view of the neighbourhood and its adjoining coastline right from the top of the James Town Lighthouse.
